Uninstall Icon of a ThinApp

Hi, I recently created a new package of Firefox 12.0, I incorporated flash into it, but now the uninstall icon shows the image of flash instead of firefox, while the name and the process of uninstall is valid. I still have the build package, is there anything I can do to address this icon isue to display the proper icon in the add/remove programs? Thanks.

Also, i have seen that you have added MSIArpProductIcon under General Purpose parameter. I have modified your package.ini and attached the same.

Please use the attached Package.ini and rebuild the ThinApp.

Can you try setting below in the package.ini please.

MSIArpProductIcon=%ProgramFilesDir%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe,0

How are you registering the ThinApp? MSI or ThinReg?

Could you also upload the package.ini please.

The MSIArpProductIcon parameter is referring to the EXE of Flash plugin, thats why you see the flash icon in Add/Remove programs.

MSIArpProductIcon=%SystemSystem%\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil32_11_2_202_235_Plugin.exe

Please change this to the path of the Firefox entry point. Most probably, it would be under %ProgramFilesDir%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

MSIArpProductIcon=%ProgramFilesDir%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
