I have captured Office 2010 Professional Plus with VMware ThinApp 4.6.1 using a clean Windows XP 32-bit machine. I am deploying the thinapped Office 2010 with VMware View 4.5 to a Windows 7 32-bit machine.

I am still unable to successfully activate the ThinApped Office 2010 application every time it is launched. When an error occurs, the Office application
launches a configuration window that is unsuccessful. This results with an error message that states the license is not verified and will now exit. In order for the applications to function after the error, the sandbox needs to be reset. I have noticed that the error occurs when there are multiple .exe processes. Are there any additional modifications that can be made to have all Office 2010 applications activated every time they are launched?
Did you have Internet connection while you were capturing Office on WXP?
I currently have two snapshots of Office 2010. In one capture I had internet connection during the installation and one capture I did not. For both captures, the Office Applications are activated and functional on my WXP. When I deploy the project to W7 it is activates on most launches.
The problem was .NET Framework 4 Client Profile was previoulsy uninstalled on the W7 machine. This was fixed by capturing .NET Framework and applinking it to the Office 2010 project.
