Here are the steps to follow:

1. On a clean machine, open IE 7 ThinApp and do all the customization that gets saved in the sandbox

2. Using SBmerge utility, merge the contents of sandbox back into the ThinApp

Please follow these 2 steps after doing customization in the ThinApp:

1. The below command shows the list of files in the sandbox that are modified due to the customization:

sbmerge.exe Print -ProjectDir "ThinApp project folder path" -SandboxDir "sandbox path"

2. Now replace the "Print" with "Apply" that would merge the sandbox content back into the ThinApp project folder:

sbmerge.exe Apply -ProjectDir "ThinApp project folder path" -SandboxDir "sandbox path"

Rebuild the ThinApp and test the package.
