All:
If you have an app that needs changes to ini files, or registry settings in order to operate on a different hostname, does ThinApp have a solution for that?
Thanks,
Brandon
ThinApp has the ability to execute .vbs scripts during startup of the app. The script could change the .ini file or make registry changes for the current host.

You can rename the capture machine as "LOCALHOST" before doing starting the capture process, this will enable the VirtualComputerName setting in package.ini and assign it the value "LOCALHOST", also I expect that the app's ini files and registry setting will also get the name LOCALHOST (because thats the computer name while installing the app). I think this is worth trying. VirtualComputerName will make the app believe that the computer's name is LOCALHOST.
