Could someone explain to me exactly what this is and how I set this in the package.ini
Streamed execution means you are not having the package locally on the client hard disk but located on a central location and execute the application by downloading only the blocks needed in order to execute and run the application. Execution still happens on the local client.
Our streaming model only requires that you place the packages on a network share. Point the users to the package (simplest method would be to provide a shortcut) and the users can now start using the application. You can use thinreg.exe (found in the ThinApp Utilities folder) to perform registration of your remote packages creating a look and feel of locally installed applications.. We do not cache anything locally so your machines are kept absolute clean..
There is no settings necessary in package.ini.. All ThinApp packages can both be deployed locally on disk or be used in a streaming fashion.
