Sandbox issue - %username%

Hi,

We have a user that uses a ThinApp'd application. It properly creates his sandbox on the network, but during his usage of the application, it also creates a %username% sandbox.

In our package.ini (on all apps) the sandbox path is going to a network share that includes \%username%\

This works fine, accept for this one user.

The %username% sandbox isn't created until this user clicks on the File menu of this paticular application, then the Office install wizard starts.  But 1) this isn't Office and has nothing to do with Office, and 2) at this piont is when the %username% sandbox is created for this user.

Also, in both sandboxes for this user, the subfolder is the same.  It's the name of the drafting application that we ThinApp'd.  Isolation is WriteCopy.

Additional note: This only started to happen after the app was built using 4.6.2  This did not happen on 4.6.1

Any ideas?

Thanks

Can you, please, create deubbing entry point cmd.exe and look for system variable by command:

set USERNAME

Can you, please, attach Package.ini file into this post?

Thank you,

Thanks for the reply.

Here is the package.ini

Note: When he first starts the app, his correct sandbox is created and there is a subfolder created for the app in that.

\johnsmith\GTX Application

But... while he uses the app, another sandbox is created!  Without even closing the app this happens.

\%username%\GTX Application

Please, Attach File and not copy&paste it into the post Smiley Happy It's easier to read.

It appears that some code is not able to expand %username%, can you please post logmonitor logs here.
