We have SQL Management Studio 2008 setup as a thinapp, when we launch the thinapp the process savservice.exe (Sophos Antivirus) sits at ~100% CPU usage. This is causing the machine to be unresponsive and takes a few minutes to settle down. I have read through the VMware best practice for AV with thinapps and it says to exclude the package directory on the server which we have.
Can anyone shed any light on how i can resolve this. We have a lot of thinapps being used here and we don't experience this issue with any of these packages.
We are currently running Thinapp across the network and the sandbox isn't exempt in the local profile.
