Release 4.0.4, Windows 7, and 16 bit application support

Is 16 bit legacy application support possible on Windows 7 using ThinApp?

If I package my existing legacy 16 bit applications on Windows XP, will they run on Windows 7?

No, 16 bit on Win7 doesn't work with 4.0.4.

Absolutely. When we release a version that officially supports Win7, 16-bit support will be part of it. Of course, 16-bit support is limited to Win7 32-bit, Win7 64-bit (like other 64-bit Windows versions) doesn't support 16-bit natively so neither can we.

Initially, I had thought that 16-bit support on Windows 7 via ThinApp was going to be a given but, after trying out the 4.0.4 release, I was a little shaken.
