Newbe questions regarding licensing

I've just downloaded the 60 day trial version of ThinApp:- and I am impressed so far .

Having looked at the licensing FAQ's I am still unsure how client licenses are managed.

I wish to eploy a virtualized app(s) to 100 workstations so I need to buy the product + 100 client licenses.

  • Are client licenses managed by a license server?
  • If I deploy an image containing virtual apps using Ghost, will this create any licensing issues?
  • Will any apps that I have deployed using the trial version cease to work on the clients after 60 days?

thanks for any advice

No license manager exist.. It is a honor based license model..

No, as long as you have enough ThinApp licenses to cover your deployed environment you should be fine..

Yes, the package will expire. What you need to do is to either rebuild the project or relink the packages using the new paid license key..

Benefit are that the project is without license.. So any tweaks you do will be full reusable when you have your real license.
