Minitab 16.1 Thinapped - dot on numeric keyboard instead of comma!

Dear all,

I've successfully thinapped Minitab 16.1 (statistical software package).

Unfortunately I have an annoying problem.

My keyboard setup is european (comma as decimal separator instead of dot). It works flawlessy with the normal installation of Minitab, so when I press the "dot" on the numeric keyboard I effectively get a ",". This is correct.

In the thinapped version, on the same PC, when I press the "dot" on the numeric keypad I get the "." and not the "," as expected. It appears to be a keyboard issue as the software correctly works with the comma as a decimal separator.

There is any way in thinapp settings to avoid this strange behaviour of the numeric keypad?

Thsnk you!

giuseppe

Welcome to the Community,

please search for LocaleIdentifier in http://www.vmware.com/pdf/thinapp45_manual.pdf for how to configure/modify regional settings.

Thank you Andrè,

I tried to set the LocaleIdentifier to 1040 (Italy) but it did not work.

The same by commenting out the variable from the package.ini.

I still have the numeric keypad dot recognized as a "dot" and not as a comma as I would expect (and as it works appropriately with the standard installation).

Please note the the thinapped minitab correctly recognize the comma as the decimal separator but it does not allow me to input it correctly using the num keypad.
