Microsoft Excel 2007- Not able to open help on Win7 64bit

Hi,

I have thinapped Microsoft Excel 2007 SP2 on Windows XP and i want to use it on Win7 64 Bit, Its not showing help in Win7 (but working in XP) other functionality is fine . While clicking on help icon its going for repair and trying to install ExcelMUI.msi from MSOCache folder, and its failing.

I tried deleting the installer keys which is pointing to ExcelMUI.msi but it didn' work. Have attached the error snapshot.

Known Issues
•The Help for virtual Microsoft Office 2010 applications running on the Windows 2008 or Windows 7 64-bit platforms does not display correctly

Is this above information will effect the functionality of this application????

I am using ThinApp 4.1.6.

As I also captured this application in Win7 64 bit but while launching its showing error as "not enough memory to run Microsoft Excel. Please close other applicaion and try again"

Any suggestion?

Hi amrit

I have had the same issue when launching help of Excel 2007 ThinApp.

To fix the problem, please recapture Office 2007 on XP SP3 instead of XP SP2.

PS: The known issue you mentioned is for Office 2010, not Office 2007.
