Back to the same error as in the first post!

Guessing a few DLLs are the issue.

What is the service pack level of Navision? It seems that only SP3 or higher is supported on Windows 7.

Have you checked the native application runs on Windows 7?

Yea. Our problem is we need to update the server side. So many changes to be done on our Database and scripts etc etc.

The quick fix I was hoping was to thinapp and be done for now. The current client doesnt work on Windows 7...

There  is a difference between XP  and win7 version of shlwapi.dll. If you  want to experiment you can copy  shlwapi.dll from XP system to %SystemSystem% folder in package. Rebuild  and run on win7. If the  application is not running natively on Win7  system then it is difficult  for ThinApp will solve the problem.

I will give it a shot.

There is a build that will work for the client but we dont have access nor have a partner to get the updated client.

Finding out new things everyday!

Lakshman- We have SP3 from my research theres a certain build that works with Win7 we dont have it.
