Limit thinapp deployment to pool

Hi ya,

So I'm trying to do something and wanted to see if anyone had a solution. I have a pool of non-persistent desktops in a lab that any user is free to access. Let's say I have 50 desktops. Now I only have licenses for 10 Adobe master suites. Is there a way to deploy the Adobe app to the full pool but put a maximum concurrent usage of 10? So if one user closes the app it's now available to any of the other users logged in up to 10? I know a license server could manage that but I'm hoping to find another solution. Adobe is just one example I've got several applications like this. I don't want to have to create a new pool for every application.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Hi,

You have to use a third-party tool like RES Workspace Manager

Put the thinapp package in a windows file share.  Set the share to limit the share to 10 concurrent sessions.  Set the package to stream to the entire desktop pool from that share.
