Our company uses an insurance policy quoting tool that is able to run only on IE6 and an older version of Java (1.3.1_08). This is the final legacy application that has been holding us back from upgrading Internet Explorer from 6 to 7 or 8. I had begun looking into ThinApp'ing this application, and thought it was going to be pretty simple, but have been running into some issues. Recently, while I was out of the office on vacation, management decided to upgrade to IE7, and just "figure out" the problems with this application later. To make it short, this is the main application used by some 3-400 users, who now cannot do their jobs, and I find myself under the gun, so to speak.
The long and short of it is I'm having problems with jar files. For almost every page within the application, java pulls a new jar file. During the ThinApp process, I open the web app and hit as many pages as I can, to pull the jar files in. Those pages seem to work just fine, but there is no way I can hit every single page in this application. There are dozens of security roles within the app, each giving the user access to any number of the literally thousands of pages and screens.
What I am wondering is if there is a way to allow the sandbox to pull in the jar files when it encounters them. I have tried changing the IsolationMode, but this has not helped any. Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
