Is it possible to Virtualize ActiveX components and Controls?

Hello People.

Im in the process of thinapping IE7 but I also need to put some ActiveX functionallity in the package.

I have tried installing the activeX during the capture, but I can't seem to get it to work without installing the ActiveX in the OS.

So my question is:

1. Can you virtualize ActiveX controls and components?

2. How do you best capture ActiveX, so they will work in the Thinapp package?

If this issue is allready in the forum I apologize, but I was not able to find it.

Thanks in advance.

You should be very well able to capture and virtualize Active X components.. I have done it many times.. But as always it depends on the components.. Must of the times is it a straight forward process of simply launch IE during Setup Capture, visit the page that initiate the Active X installer and then run Post scan..

Since it is not working, what kind of Active X are we talking about? Something seems hindering ThinApp from virtualize it..

Activate IE as a Entry Point and launch that Entry Point in order to get access to the virtualized components..
