Help making Portable AutoCAD LT 2012

I'm trying to make a portable Autocad LT 2012 for our users but am failing miserably.

I captured using a fresh Windows XP SP3 VM. It went smoothly but the built package just starts and dies with no error. I have tried Merged and Writecopy. I prefer write copy because I want to use our Active Directory to control who uses but let users use our conference room PCs and loaner laptops and have their software follow them.
