Group Entitlement via View Administrator

Hi!

We're trying to leverage the new ThinApp deployment options in the View Administrator. However, it seems as though there's only a pool or desktop entitlement for a thinapp.

If I do this, the ThinApp is shown on the user's desktop. However, if the user isn't entitled to start the application via ThinApp's own security group, the application doesn't start.

Is it possible to completely hide the application if the user has no access to it?

P.S.: Perhaps this ain't a ThinApp, but more a View-topic. I don't know.

As far as I know this isn't possible with VMware View. As workarround you could use startmenu and or desktop redirection with Acces Based Enumeration enabled "users can't see any shorcuts files they don't have rights on". Perhaps you could also use a thinreg script (vbs) and specify ad groups per application?
