Can an old 16-bit program which installed on a CD ROM be set up for Thin App?

I have a call into the VM Ware rep.  I was wondering if an older 16-bit program be deployed on Thin App by download or on a DVD.   This is for a non-profit so we would need an inexpensive solution.  Many thanks. Smiley Happy

It is possible but there are some caveats, for example a 16-bit application can not execute on 64-bit Windows.

Thanks Linjo.   So it will not be able to run on Windows 7 or 8 (64)?

Correct:

Certain operating systems and applications are not supported by ThinApp. 

16‐bit or non x86 platforms such as Windows CE 

64‐bit applications running on 32‐bit Windows operating systems 

16‐bit applications running on 64‐bit Windows operating systems

Thank you.  Are you aware of any other work arounds?  The only others I can think of is VM and they install an old copy or XP or Vista 32.  I don't think Citrix will work.  Thanks for any suggestions.  I will talk to the VM Rep tomorrow. Smiley Happy

Windows 7 and 8 are also offered in 32 bit versions.
