Applinking without editing package.ini

Hi our application Microsoft Office 2010 is already in production(thinapped) with applink disabled(optional link still commented). Now I would like to applink with PDF Converter. Is there a way I can do it without editing package.ini(Microsoft office 2010) or rebuilding the thinapp?

I don't think it is possible without editing package.ini and rebuild the package.
