Hi All
I need to Thinapp an application wit Oracle client 10.2 patch 4 now the problem is that after the login the application disappears from the desktop!
But it's still showing within the taskmanager of the XP and the DB shows the connection as establish and ready to work...
so that’s how I made it.
1. Run Thinapp on a clean XP SP2
2. Install Oracle 10.2
3. Install Oracle Patch 0.4
4. Install Oracle ODBC
5. Checking Tnsnames.ora and SQLnet.ora have the right entries!
6. Install the Application
7. run thinapp
8. Build the Application in to the Packet I need
9. starting the packed app the login screen starts and I am able to login and the DB Server registers my login and tells me I am connected.
But now my application is not visible on the Desktop of the XP....
If I start on the same machine the installed app it works with now problems...
