Adobe Reader XI - Compiled DAT\EXE very large

Hi,

I am trying to package up an installation of Adobe Reader XI, the issue that im having is that the size of the EXE\DAT file is in excess of 500MB - I am looking at streaming this across the network so the size of this would be an issue, can anyone recommend the best method to compile Adobe Reader which would result in a much smaller package?

Hi,

Cheers for that, I have run through these and got the package down to around 400MB - older versions of Adobe I can get down to around 80MB for the package but unfortunately those versions are non Windows 7 compliant.

Any other ideas would be most appreciated.

Wow, reducing the size by 400MB is really cool. Have you tried deleting the MSI files under %SYSTEMROOT%\INSTALLER?
