Adding Outlook Add-ins

Hi

Installing other application which have outlook add-ins. Can it possible to add this add-in in the existing MS Office 2010 outlook so no other shortcut require to be created ?

Hi OnVM, the problem is not very clear. Are you trying to use the add-ins in another package from the MS Office 2010 outlook package? Did you try Applink to link them together?

yes trying to add outlook add-ins from other package in MS Office Outlook. Tried APPLINK as well but still no luck.

Any procedure to add outlook add-ins from other package , as it does not have any shortcut

After you applink them, what is the error? It should work if you capture them in a single package, right? You can compare and see what is missing. Perhaps the add-in is not registered properly.

can you please tell if the application is having any shortcut if it is having to which file you are pointing .And how you are applinking the application and the error which you are getting. If possible attach the screnshoot. So that we can help you

Just elobrate

Third party application EAS Client which have outlook add-in. So after capturing not able to populate add-in. Using applink to office and then launch outlook still no luck. No error message.

How to add outlook add-in in office by other application?

While the AppLink approach may be preferred, perhaps it is best, in the short term, to re-capture outlook and the add-ins together, at the same time, as one package.  Once you see that virtual Outlook and the captured add-ins all work together in one virtual application, then confidence they will work as separate packages increases.
