Workstation 16 Pro VMnet0 for bridged does NOT get active

VMs do not reach internet any more

once it worked in player - I do not know which change made it not working any more

therefore I upgraded from player to Workstation 16 Pro 

in Network Editor VMnet0 is only visible when choosing "Change Settings" , but it's lost again when re-entering

VMnet0 does not get stored and does not get active, VMs do not reach internet
