Windows 2012R2 server VM loosing internet gateway under ESXi 5.5

One of out two Windows 2012 R2 server VM's on one of our ESXi 5.5 servers  is loosing internet gateway  every 12 hours or so

We have seen posts about type of network adaptor and have the 2012 R2 server VM set on E100E and have checked the VM for hidden adaptors  - there were two which we have deleted

The NIC is set not to go to sleep and  the server  is on the same time  with the DC's (Domain controllers)

Is there anything else to check?

Sorry - forgot to add edited the VM  for adaptors using

set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1   and then

devmgmt.msc

and can then see the hidden ones
