Hi everyone,
We've recently created a series of Windows VMs for our QA team. I have installed vmware tools on all of these machines but there are 3 Windows 7 VMs and 1 Windows Vista VM that don't play ball. In my report I get a message telling me that tools is not running on these but if I go in via the console, restart the vmware tools service it reports that tools is running OK but will soon revert back.
I've attempted to google for this problem and also take a look around the community pages but as yet I've not found a solution.
Is there something I need to pay attention for?
Is this a common issue on Windows Clients? (as I haven't seen this on any server VMs in the environment)
Any pointers are much appreciated.
