VMware Player 12.5.8 wont start with xubuntu 16.04 (64bit) (Kernel 4.13.0-12 generic).
When I start the player a window shows that gcc 7.2.0 is needed. But gcc 7.2.0 was installed bevor.
When I start in the terminal it shows that "virtual machine monitor" and "virtual ethernet" failed. "vmmon" and "vmnet" is not loaded.
Any help would be appreciated, many thanks!
