Technical Information ESXi 3.5

Dear Support Forum,

in order to write some comparison

about different bare-metal hypervisors for school, I am on the way to sum technical facts of the VMWare ESXi 3.5 Version.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to find some good information ressources.

Documents like the VMWare_ESX_Datasheet.pdf didn't really helped me out.

Don't get me wrong, but I need hard facts, as an overview of management possibilites (storage live migration, vm live migration,), hot adding physical ressources, built in thin provisioning, memory overcommitment, snaphot possibilities, maximum of hardwarepower (current state - 4 vCPUS and 64 GB RAM per VM) and dozens of other those information.

So my question to you is, if you know any other ressources i can correspond to because i really need to have an current overview for my schools report.

I am curious why you are looking 3.5 and not vSphere 4 - which is the current release so to be eclipsed by vSphere 5 -
