Moving VM Guests to a new DataStore - Resource Consumption Used 100%

We are trying to move our VMs from one datastore to another.

VMs are using thin provisioned Hard Disks  (ex:-  we allocate like 160GB per vm )

in VM settings we can see it's Used space is less 160GB BUT

after moving to the new data storage we can see the used space and provisioned space is same (so 100% used)

and so that we cant move our all the vms to the new datastorage

any directions ?

Which VMware product? Sounds like vSphere/ESXi but please confirm.
