I'm trying to migrate from Parallels and am unable to launch windows inside my imported virtual machine. I'm working on Mac OS Sierra, moving the PVM from my old home automation Mac Mini to the new home automation Mac Mini. I have a virtual device running fine on another computer with a copy of XP (XP is necessary here because it is working with some of my home automation systems that for the time being require XP).
Every time I start the machine, I get this error: "Cannot connect to virtual device IDE0:1 because no corresponding device is available on the host. Do you want to try to connect this virtual device..."
I check yes, and then XP attempts to start, and then gives me an error
"we apologize... but windows did not start successfully."
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
