I want to change my profile name, Lastname city bangkok thailand
the system error Invalid Address Line, city, zip/postal code, country/territory combination.
I have this problem too.
Same problem..
Same issue here, for an address in the Republic of Ireland. Address is as specified by the national post office so 100% valid. Tried various variations (space, no space, etc.), same issue. So it seems their address validation system is broken for quite a few countries.
The irony of it is that they pulled these details from their own database (existing customer) but would not ingest it back when the additional field (re. job title etc.) had been filled.
Doing this to get a free license for Fision Player 13.
@VMware could you fix this please? Thank you.
Please note that this is the same issue as an older thread "Can't create customer connect account", so worth tracking both. I have also seen someone discussing this issue on a different forum / social platform, suggesting a workaround which is not satisfactory.
Problem solved - the validation system makes silly assumptions and for example, expects all addresses (for address 1) to start with a number. Even though our address has no numbers (as per the national post office and national postcode authorities - I double checked), I added a unmber ("1") and the form correctly submitted. This may (or may not) work for you, but worth a try.
Another warning: the way the error is reported pointed to an issue with the postcode (Eircode for us) when in fact the issue was with Address Line 1. Good luck.
To VMWare: our addresses are not incorrect/incomplete, the address validation system is just broken for certain countries.
It accepts German addresses as valid. For example: Berlin Humboldt University address.
Key can be obtained after address verification.
for address 1 to start with any number
You are right, instead of pointing to [ Address Line 1 ] it is complaining about ZIP code.
In my case I did not put number of building. And name of street was not enough. After I add number, it found 2 similar addresses and asked me to choose one.
All works once it matches user's input with its DB.
This worked !!
The same issue address with Myanmar.
When I type the address as United States, Oregon, it is OK.
Same issue continue for me in Turkey
I also used data from the University of Berlin. But is it possible that one cannot put one's data, right, and no one does not solve the problem?
same issue here, finally I chose to be in Afghanistan and system couldn't check the postal addresses ![]()
Hi, I just have a same problem when I register an account.
so, I use "Krung Thep" instead "Bangkok" and address line just use address number without any "/" or "-"
it's work for me.
I EXAMINED ALL THE SOLUTIONS SUGGESTED BY OTHERS AND EVEN MY COMBINATIONS ALSO AND REACHED ON THE CONCLUSION THAT THERE IS NO ANY ERROR IN THE WEBSITE BUT THERE IS A RESTRICTION THAT EVERYBODY SHOULD ENTER THREE DIGIT NUMBER LIKE 555 AND FOLLOWED BY ADDRESS IN ADDRESS 1 COLUMN ONLY FOR EXAMPLE I ENTERED 555 RING ROAD ONLY THEN IT IS ACCEPTING THE INDIA PIN/ZIP CODES ALSO
SCREEN SHOT OF ADDRESS SUBMITTED
Suggested Address
No matter what I try it does not work, but thanks for sharing. As it has been going on for at least three months, I don;t think VMware are too concerned.
Regards and thanks again
Adding digits at the beginning of address line 1 has not helped, but it worked after adding in the city field, the postal code number after the city name, so instead of "Dublin" I have typed "Dublin 15" and then it suggested me a list from which I could select the correct address.
I am located in Dublin in Ireland but looking at the other comments this might not be a working solutions for other locations.
My account can nof update do this invalid zip code.
