Hi,
Another question, is there a method to determine how many virtual machines I can host on a single computer? Many people seem to be asking this question, but I am yet to find an answer other than the vague "between 10 and 20 vms" or "up to 50 vms" If I know what my hardware specs are and I know what operating systems and applications I am going to run on the virtual servers, is there a way to calculate if my hardware will actually be able to host the vms?

It depends. No one can really predict it, so the only way to know - run your VMs and find out when memory is exhausted or VMs start to respond too slow.
