ESXi 5.1.0 all 5 VMs Unknown (inaccessible) - No Data Store detected

Hi All,

In our organisation we had a power outage 2 days ago. This resulted in our physical IBM Host shutting down and then powering back on. The ESXi 5.1.0 on the host had 5 VMs on it that have not booted and are all name Unknown (inaccessible).

When I select the configuration TAB is states that the ESXi host does not have persistent storage and then suggests that I create a datastore.

I have set the Host into maintenance mode and right clicked > Rescan for datastores, but this then disconnects me from the vsphere client saying "the current session to "IP" is no longer valid, do you wish to log back in?"

I was unaware of this Host and its VMs until the power outage when afterwards we had numerous services down.

Any Help that you could provide in the restoration of the Datastore or datastore path would be appreciated.

Thank you

Callum

Here is a rescan of all HBAs via putty if it helps at all.

Your post needs moving to the correct area for ESXi, so I have reported it to the moderators.
