Cannot Remove or Install VMware

Hello, 

I had VMWare Workstation 14 pro, tried to remove and install version 15, but I face this error" The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2708." I tried installing different version and setup but I always receive the same message. 

Please guide me how to solve this problem.

Remove the old version with the standard\traditional way and restart PC.

I worked with a VMware Workstation a while ago and even upgraded too - but there were no issues. 

Or even better - in VMware Workstation 14 Pro - take "check for updates" and update it based on Workstation 14.
