Can't upgrade ESXi 5.0 to ESXi 5.0u1

I can not find any documentation for moving from ESXi 5.0 to ESXi 5.0 update 1.   The documentation that came with update 1 seems to be the same 5.0 documentation that just mentions upgrade paths from 4.1 etc.

I am attempting to upgrade in the same manner that I upgraded from 4.1u1.  First I updated vCenter to 5.0u1.  Then I added an upgrade profile to update manager and imported the 5.0u1 iso.  However when I try to remediate a host (currently running 5.0), I get this error message: "Upgrade is not supported for host [hostname]"

When I select the 5.0u1 Upgrade in Update Manager and click details next to one of my hosts I see the following message: "Host version 5.0.0 is not supported for this upgrade.  Supported host versions are: 4.0 4.1 ."

So the question is: how do I get Update 1 installed on my 5.0 ESXi hosts?

It's not actually an upgrade.

What you're looking to do is apply the latest patch, which update manager should actually find dynamically if there's a "all VMware patches" baseline. You don't want to import the iso, this is for new installs.
