Can a vMotion port and a management port have different gateways? I only see a default GW that I can edit and when I change it for vMotion it changes the management port.

I am trying to set up a vMotion port group that is on a different subnet than the management group.  I am only allowed a single gateway that is shared between them.  Is  there any way to have them on different subnet groups?

Yes you can configure separate gateway for vMotion from vSphere 6.0. The older version doesn't support this feature.
