Any idea about vmware player error message "This host support Intel vt-x, but Intel VT-x is disabled".

I have a HP computer with Intel i7 and windows 8.1. When I tried to establish a linux system through vmware, a error message came up with " this host support Intel-vt-x, but Intel VT-x is disabled". I have tried to reboot with the vt.iso attachment in a USB drive, but it does not work either. I have powered cycle the computer too. I can not find BIOS/firmware settings in my computer. Any idea about how to solve this problem?

Hi mengvmware,

Welcome to VMware community.

You will have to restart the computer and press either F10 or DEL to go to BIOS settings.

Under Security----System Security you will find the option to enable VT.

Also can you tell the model of Computer so we can see model specific options.
