About the period during which I can edit posts and edit replies

I want to edit a past post or reply, but I couldn't edit an existing post that posted few months ago.

Dose VMTN have the editable period?

Hi @kawaman just to confirm, it is only old posts/ comments that you can't edit? In permissions it shows that you should be able to edit any of your own posts so I am wondering if for some reason it won't let you edit posts from the old platform? Which would be very odd.

@kawaman

I get the Edit and Reply options as normal, the same as for any other thread.

(I only get Edit for your comments as I am a moderator)

Hi @scott28tt ,

Yes, I can push "Edit Reply" and open edit mode.
But after editting I push "Post" button, it did not work.

I used another browser (Chrome, Edge ) or deleted the cache and cookies, but I can't post.

I can edit the comments I recently posted.
I can't edit comments that are more than a few months old.

Actually I was able to re-edit this comment.

@kawaman

In that case it's over to @jennivmtn to see if she can help.

Thanks @jennivmtn ,

I tried editing some past posts, but I noticed that only this post could not be edited.
And only this post, I cannot edit (post) even if I use the Chrome on my smartphone.

If possible, can you promote my account to moderator role?
Currently, there is only one moderator in the Japanese forum, so I would like to help with.

Hi @jennivmtn , @scott28tt

I edited the post again today and it was edited correctly.

The following message which was not displayed last time was displayed.
"Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied."

It may have contained some wrong HTML when migrating from the old forum.

Thank you for your support.
