Deploying VM/OVA in a cluster with enabled "Tanzu with Sphere" - Is it acceptable?

Once we enable a cluster with "Tanzu with vSphere" where we create the supervisor cluster, could users deploy VMs/OVA as in a normal vSphere cluster? Or they have to deploy VMs in a namespace only (e.g. yaml file, kind: virtualmachine)?

Usually, we separate clusters for Tanzu and VMs, but due to limited resources, they want to enable Tanzu and deploy VMs as usual (without namespaces etc). Also in VMware reference architecture, we see that VMs are part of the Supervisor cluster only

Any possible impact with that approach?

Yes it's definitely possible. You just need to pay attention to resource destirbution but in the same cluster that is prepared for vSphere with Tanzu (supervisor cluster) you might have TKG workload clusters based on VMs, vSphere Pods as well as ordinary VMs. And those "ordinary" VMs or appliances are also created/deployed the standard way as in any vSphere cluster.
