Cannot download patches from internet by using updatemanager

Need help on this:

I am using vCenter6.7 to manage many Esxi6.7 hosts
When downloading patches from Internet, in the setting of update manager----in the patch setup section, the connectivity status always shows "validating".  Please see the attachment.

What could be wrong with this?

How can I resolve it?

Any advices will be much more appreciated!

Yes, we are using a proxy.

The issue is resolved by resetting the update manager service.
