Can we run the esxtop command for a specific time interval? Is there an option to provide the start/end date OR even for a period of 4 hrs etc and have the result exported as csv/
No that's not a command line option for esxtop. but you could use crontab for this. there's an excellent blog article to be found here on this topic:
