Is there any way to see disk wait time on an esx server. basically i am looking to see if at any time the cpu is waiting so that the disk can return the data
Welcome to the VMware Community forums. Have you tried using esxtop - in particular looking at the QUED storage counter? You can get more info here - http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-5240. See this page for info about using esxtop (or looking at the counter in the VI client - http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-3930).
