We have an urgent situation where we need benchmarks but don't have the ideal environment for that just yet. To meet network isolation requirements, we're want to use a prime client machine that is half the requirements of 4 CPUs and 4GB RAM. What are the potential impact and risks?
Also, VMmark indicates the same hardware requirements apply to the prime client whether it's running Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 (only disk soace changes). The hardware requirements / recommendations for the two OS's is very different. Why would they be the same for the prime client for VMmark 2.1?
