VVols with HPE Alletra 9000

We have migrated our environment to an HPE Alletra 9000 and are running into and issue where we cannot create a datastore larger than 16 TB and use the compression.   We are looking at implementing VVols to move the vm's into.  Does anyone know if we do this, will be be able to use volumes on the vm's if they need to go past 16 TB?  Thank you in advance for any help with this.

IIRC there used to be a limitation of 16 TiB on HPE's 3par for volumes with dedup&compression enabled.
I'd suggest that you reach out to HPE to find out whether this is still the case with the Alletra 9000.

I am working with an engineer at HPE and he is looking into this issue.  I was told that the Primera and Alletra 9000 series arrays are build off of the 3par and that the 6000 series were build off of the Nimble line.  The 6000 series do not have this limitation.  If they can figure something out I will add it here.

Thank you.
