VC browing slow

Hi,

I have an HA DRS cluster with 2 ESX hosts running on 3.5 upd2 and VC upd2. Recently, I have noticed that the browsing is preety slow intermittently. It works fine for one moment and slows another moment, Any help is greatly appreciated. I took support form vmware and they mentioned cleaning up the DB. Is it really safe to do it and is there any other way which I can use to make it perform better as the VC servers hardware is workign fine with no perf issue.

It is safe as long as you backup (dump) your SQL database first for safety. Can you be more specific on what exactly is slow ? Browsing anything in the inventory or just datastores ?

Hi Virtek,

The issue has been resolved. I was trying earlier to restart the VC service. However, when I restarted the License service, all came backto normal. not sure how.
