I am unable to export the performance chart from vCenter server and getting below error:
"no performance data to report for selected objects."
please find attached screenshot.
i using the vSphere 5.1 version. Please help.

Can you see data in vCenter charts for that object? So it just doesn't export? Or there's no data visible?

there is no data visible on vCenter as well if i go to performance tab and select the objects to get the chart.
please suggest....
By chance are you trying to view a statistic that isn't available in your current statistic level:
VMware vSphere 4 - ESX and vCenter Server
Failing that I'd suggest opening a support call to validate your vCenter installation.
