I am trying to evaluate the performance of one of my hosts and the guests that are hosted on it. My question comes from looking at the "Memory/Real-time" chart.
The guest has 1024 of RAM that was allocated to it when it was provisioned.
The chart mentioned above is based on 2GB, that is my first question, shouldn't it be based on 1024?
2nd question: the "memory Granted" is 1048.576 MB. I must not be understanding Granted as the host appears to be granting more than I provisioned?
and memory usage % is based off of 2 GB instead of 1024, so what is the difference between Usage, Active, and Granted. My presumption is Active is what the Guest OS is actually using at the time? but the other two, I am not sure.
