Hello everyone!
I have some issues of Direct Connect ISCSI Proliant DL360 Gen10 at MSA 2062 in terms Vmware Compatibility Guide and HPE SPOCK because there is not any information about proper working of ESXi on servers direct connected by DAC cable.
My spec (CPU, RAM and other stuff is removed):
P19766-B21 | HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 8SFF NC Configure-to-order Server | 2 |
P08421-B21 | HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port SFP+ BCM57414 Adapter | 2 |
J9281D | Aruba 10G SFP+ to SFP+ 1m Direct Attach Copper Cable | 4 |
R0Q82A | HPE MSA 2062 10GbE iSCSI SFF Strg | 1 |
Here is what I found and that not help me:

Can you help me with my issues?
Did you ever get this sorted? I just cant seem to get my pool on the MSA 2060 in ESXI host
For the use of iSCSI connection, the correct is to use an external ethernet switch
Hi. Is it this what you are looking for:
iSCSI Initiator Notes
1) All standard ProLiant NICs are supported in Switch Connected in conjunction with the iSCSI OS initiator (SW initiator). Direct Connect is not supported.

For iSCSI deployment you need network switches. See here: HPE MSA Storage Configuration and Best Practices for VMware vSphere technical white paper
Only FC or SAS deployments can be direct attached.
