IOmeter result fields interpretation

Hello!

Im testing my Nvme Module and also my SSD storage with iometer inside a VM.
I read a few guides how to configure the iometer settings approriately.

But im not sure how to interpret the results.
The field "IOPS" within in the csv-file says "93161.825191" for my nvme module, and "8960.938552" for my SSD RAID.

93 billion IOPS? - This can't be possible.
Or is that "." character a decimal seperator?  In which case it would be far too low for my SSD raid.

regards,
ND

93161 IOPS. Keep in mind the size of the workload is important.

Calculating the throughput is essential, so perhaps 800 MB/s is a good value, Runing that test with a 4k size, you will have around 200.000 IOPS, but setting the size to 256k, only 3200 will show up.

There are also differences between read and write, random and sequentiel.

Perhaps use https://flings.vmware.com/ioinsight

or the VMware I/o analyzer, also from VMware Fling
