How to automate ESX and VMs performance report

Hi Everyone,

I am managing 20 ESX servers and 200 VMs and i took performance report weekly for ESX as well as VMs. it takes around 2 hr , anyone know how can i automate this report , is there anything like db view schemma though which i can automate this and any newidea. I dont want to use tool tile VEEAm amd viziocare,Any help regarding this would be highly appreciable.

You may want to kick the tires on the VI Toolkit for Windows: . There are cmdlets called Get-Stat and Measure-Object that could be leveraged for your script. Some examples are in this doc: http://blogs.vmware.com/vipowershell/files/vmworld_europe_2008_powershell_lab_7_manual.pdf.

I have tried perl toolkit through which we can get performance report but that was too small ...we want report like which we get from Virtual Centre. do we have some database schemma query through which we can get the same report..Many thanks for your help.
