Default Storage Policy Pane Not Available in GUI

Can someone please answer, where is the Default Storage Policy for NFS datastores?

vSphere 7 (vCenter is U3, ESXi is U2).

When I select any of my datastores, just as described in the DOC, there is no "Default Storage Policy" pane on the Configure > General.

DOC: "Change the Default Storage Policy for a Datastore" https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.storage.doc/GUID-A5B23ECF-EE2A-4180...

But are you using vSAN or vVols: "For Virtual Volumes and vSAN datastores".

No. Are you saying that there are no storage policies for NFS datastores? Still need to find the Default Storage Policy and I can't find documentation that tells me it is any different than the link I provided.

if you click the first link you provided it says:

"For Virtual Volumes and vSAN datastores, VMware provides storage policies that are used as the default during the virtual machine provisioning. You can change the default storage policy for a selected Virtual Volumes or vSAN datastore."

Your datastore is not a Virtual Volumes datastore, and neither is it a vSAN datastore. So that means the option you are looking for is not available.

But, are you saying that there are no storage policies for NFS datastores?

Here in this screenshot you can see that a storage policy is an available option in a VM migration. The NFS datastore has a default virtual disk format, and I'd like to find that value, but can't seem to locate the documentation that tells me just where to look. And of course, once there, modify that default (if necessary).

Any help the community can provide would be appreciated.

Yes, that is what I am saying, what you are looking for does not exist.

I am having the same issue.  The odd thing is I can't apply vSAN default policy to my vSAN but I can apply a host based policy with the IO limit.  That host based policy doesn't show up in the list like in your screenshot.
